Leaking spa - leaking from Filter housing screw

LEAKING FROM FILTER HOUSING

If the tub is leaking from an area next to the Filter housing, there is a chance the leak is actually coming from the screw holes that hold the filter hosing lid in place.

To get this repaired, lower the water level in your Spa below these screws, allow 24 hours for this area to dry out, remove the screw and apply a layer of silicone around the area.

Proceed to put the screw back in place and wipe out the excess of product around the area leaving some extra. (If the screw hole is too large for the screw may require a slightly larger stainless steel screw.)

Wait at least 24 hours before refilling the tub up to ensure the silicone has dry out and provided a good seal to the area.
